It is known to all that smoking is harmful for people’s health. It is displayed by the statistics that the cell phone users have been thrice of the smokers. Therefore, the expert reckons that the harm of cell phones will be more serious than smoking. And now there are 5 million people every year died of the diseases led by smoking in the world.
In 1977, the journalist Laud first came up with the acceleration that cell phone may bring side effect to our brain. However, due to the unpopularity of cell phones at that time, the article failed to arouse pervasive attention. Then in 1985, American scientist Lynn assumed that it might elicit encephalophyma if using cell phones for a long time. He also suggested that people would better use cell phones to receive a call rather than make a call.
In 1992, the first accuse resulted from cell phones occurred in America. In Florida, America, a housewife Susan was diagnosed with encephalophyma. She firmly believed that her disease was relevant to her long-term use of cell phone. So she brought an action against NEC Company and CTE Telephone Company, which attracted vast attention on that cell phones may cause cancer.
The warning is surprising. But is it really so harmful? The argument is always in existence. And the manufacturers of cell phones also proposed a lot of methods to resolve these problems. However, there is no any authorized acclamation to solve it.
